Pssst…You can close out your Google search tab. This is the podcast for you!
All educators, especially school leaders, can benefit from this podcast. Not only are we discussing our quest for change in K-12, but we also share tips, lessons learned, and the parts of being school leaders that make it all worthwhile. Let’s not forget the amazing guests we welcome to our platform who provide even more value!
You’ll finally hear candid convo from non-traditional educators who share your passion, know your struggle, and can laugh with you along the way. It doesn’t get any more honest, raw, and unapologetic than this. So get cozy, grab your listening devices, and press play to hear us speak on systems that were not built for Black, Indigenous, and students of color and staff and ways to address them head-on.
Ironically enough, this feels much less like a show and more like a conversation with your favorite colleagues during happy hour. We know how trying the education system can be and that’s why we invite socially-conscious educators nationwide to listen as we unpack the truth about our shared experience.
(Warning: The truth may feel uncomfortable, but nothing about transformational leadership is comfortable).
You’re sure to laugh, learn, and grow episode by episode along with us as we dish out the REAL talk without sugarcoating one thing!
Hello, there! We’re Elin & Christina, two women of color educators who have been in the game for a combined 30+ years. We’re first-generation college students and have master’s and doctorate degrees to show for it. Combined, our experience as educators and school leaders exceeds 30 years, so we know a thing or two about racial disparities and how it affects our education system today.
We use our experience and unique POVs as catalysts for change as we bring difficult conversations to the forefront. Episode by episode, we hope you feel empowered to rally behind our mission to uplift Black, Indigenous, and students of color and challenge the status quo that hinders them daily.
